Tim Langan - Psycho
This song was composed and created entirely on the Korg 01Wfd sythesizer with its built in 16-track sequencer. I originally wrote this piece for the Norman Bates character in Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho.'
I had composed this piece after a live performance of one of my groups, between 3 am and 7 am, while on tour out in British Columbia, back around 1994 while we were staying in some of the rustic old hotels in Western Canada.
Upon reflection though, I thought about all of the mass murderers and psychotic killers that we've taken the time to put on trial, convict and then lock away for life, yet we leave the worst of this group in charge of the country and the military around the world - it is time to wake up and put each and every one of these people away, before we're forced into extinction by our narcissistic tendencies.
(THIS description was written in 2008, it now seems prophetic given our current global situation)
