Ukraine-Russia standoff: Soviet-era Cold War bomb shelters may be put back into use
While Ukraine's president is urging calm amid ongoing tensions with Russia, bomb shelters created by the Soviet Union from the Cold War era are being prepped should they be needed.

Some of the shelters include information regarding what to do in an emergency, including how to administer medical attention and what to do in the case of nuclear or chemical attacks.

Russia has denied it is planning any military action, but it has massed an estimated 100,000 troops near Ukraine in recent weeks, leading the United States and its NATO allies to rush to prepare for a possible war.

Several rounds of high stakes diplomacy have failed to yield any breakthroughs on either side, leading to fears the Soviet-era bunkers may be needed in the event of a modern conflict.

Crystal Goomansingh goes into one shelter built in 1971 to take a look at what's inside should it have to be put into use.
