House of Dragon is about over 200 years prior to the 'fall of the throne'. It and tells the story of House Targaryen and the Targaryen civil warfare often called the Dance of the Dragons.

The teaser gives us glimpses of the lead cast including Emma D'Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Steve Toussaint as The Sea Snake, Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower and Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower. It also features brief glimpses of an Iron Throne much different from the one we've seen, sword fights, the Targaryen family and just the hint of a dragon.
