Biden Calls Reporter ‘a Stupid Son of a B***h’ on Hot Mic

Strange, Biden’s usually more open with his gaffes.

It just wouldn’t be a Joe Biden press conference without something going wrong, and today’s example is an unfortunately timed swipe at Fox News’ Peter Doocy.

At the end of the press conference, during which Biden had tried to argue that inflation in the US was ‘under control,’ Doocy asked a question about inflation being a political liability for his administration. Biden replied with his customary blank stare and laugh, before mumbling ‘It’s a great asset, more inflation. What a stupid son of a b***h,’ clearly under the impression his microphone was off. It was not.

The gaffe spread like wildfire on social media – so much so that Biden had to personally call Doocy to apologize. If he does that for every blunder, he must be racking up one hell of a phone bill.
