The LONGEST DAY IN MY LIFE on BICYCLE

While bicycling across America in 2019, I had a particular day in which I was able to beat my personal record of 114 Miles I set at the age of 16 in 1980. I was 55 during this ride.

It happened on Day 35 of my 81 Day trip while crossing from Yellowstone National park to Lander, Wyoming. Everything about the day made the conditions perfect for cranking out a strong 140 Miles (225 Kilometers). This day was directly following my two WORST DAYS for suffering weather.

The Trans America Bicycle Trail is 4,230 miles covering 10 States, from Astoria, Oregon to Yorktown, Virginia.
