Mitch discovered the longest, 90 mile long, Rail-trail in Idaho during the 20th Day of his Trans American Bicycle Tour last May 2019.

There are over 1,800 old, historic, railroad tracks in the USA that have now been converted into bicycle, hiking, and recreational trails by both local agencies and private organizations.

Mitch is currently bicycling the 4,230 mile Trans America Bicycle Trail from Astoria, OR to Yorktown, VA. The route covers 10 States, and passes through 370 towns.
