Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park includes the Yosemite Valley and many of the surrounding mountains stretching across the Sierra Nevada mountain range. The national park covers an area more than 3,000 square kilometers. Researchers believe that a glacier formed the Yosemite Valley.

It is located in California, US. Before becoming a national park, it had been home to the Ahwaneechee Native Americans for about 4,000 years. Yosemite National Park is also home to Yosemite Falls. It is the tallest waterfall in North America and has a 2,425 feet drop.
