TEXIT Bill Press Conference at the Texas Capitol

Almost 1 year ago, I was proud to work with State Representative Kyle Biedermann and others to get HB1359 filed. The Texas Independence Referendum Act would have put the #TEXIT question to a vote of the people. When broken leadership in the Texas Legislature deprived you of your rights under Article 1 Section 2 of the Texas Constitution, I had the opportunity to call them out on their own turf.

Their contempt for the voters of Texas is one of the major reasons I am running to be your next Lt Governor.
