God hasn't made anything complicated. Man has done that. And man has most often done it in an effort to get the Word to match what his experience has been. And man has done it with the account in God's Word of the thorn in the flesh.

This account has been so well taught wrong.

What was supposed to have been an account of glorious victory and encouragement and great wisdom, has been reduced to something used to bind people up.

But tonight, we're going to do something. We're going to read. We’re not going to add speculation. We’re just going to READ what God wrote.
