60 Battalions equivalent to over 100,000 Russian troops which include Tanks, SU-35 fighter jets, several air defense units, and other heavy weapons are amassed near the far eastern portion of Ukraine’s border.

Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin told the U.S. that it will move even more troops to the western part of the border, and stated that “military drills” would be conducted. Which are expected to be carried out from Feb 10-20th, to “thwart and repel a foreign aggression.”

Even though Russia has amassed thousands of troops at the western border, it still denies that it has any plans to invade the country.

Russia conveyed to the United States and its Allies, that the troops amassed along the western border were not a move of aggression on Russia's part.

But Russia contradicts its message of peace, with a stark demand, that Ukraine should not become a member of NATO, nor should any other ex-Soviet nations. Russia also stated that no troops or weapons, from the United States or other members of NATO, be placed in any of the countries.
