I’ve built my career working to make our community cleaner, safer, and better for everyone. As the assistant director of a research center at the Florida Mental Health Institute, I advised local governments on how to best serve the public through effective community driven programs. This work reinforced my belief that local input is essential for success and should always be a priority.

During my time as Director of Government Affairs with the League of Women Voters of Florida, I worked with elected officials, community leaders, and partner organizations to craft and influence public policy that protected our voting and constitutional rights. I advocated for policies that allowed local municipalities the freedom to govern their cities without interference from the state, because local elected officials know the needs of their citizens best. I fought for clean water, reforming the criminal justice system, expansion of healthcare, and increased funding for our public schools.

I have spoken out and uplifted issues that are important to building our community. Such as protecting our children from gun violence, improving mental health services, assuring we protect our environmental resources, and standing up for the most marginalized in our community. As your next Orlando City Commissioner, I will advocate for every resident. I look forward to working with our neighbors in District 3 and throughout the City to build a better Orlando together!
