DIY Reverse Osmosis Element Flush Valve

In this video I show how I installed a Reverse Osmosis (RO) flush valve that bypasses the drain flow restrictor on my RO system. To extend the life of my RO element I want to periodically flush the membrane since I have a fairly high amount of total dissolved solids in my well water for my home. I forgot to mention to flush the system I also have the RO faucet in the on position the entire time to get water flowing through the element.
