A covenant for all times

Many scholars see the Covenant God made with Israel as a Suzerain treaty wherein God is the Sovereign and Israel are His subjects.

Could we not also see God’s Covenant as a Ketubah or Marriage agreement between God and His Chosen People – His Bride?
