Tim Langan - The 6th Glass
This composition was originally created on my Korg01Wfd sythesizer with its built in 16-track sequencer in the year 2000 and appeared on my third Keyboard Composition CD entitled "Happy Sad" - It was created with 2 separate ideas in mind. First, it was my tribute to the great American Classical music composer - Phillip Glass and secondly, it was my subtle protest against the mass consumption of alcohol in our society. I was a heavy, heavy drinker and made the conscious decision back in May of 1989 to NEVER drink alcohol again. Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed my booze very much . . . . . Too much even, I just enjoyed LIFE a whole lot more and wanted to try to be a functional member of society, rather than a staggering, vomiting, vile slab of foulness, that wandered around spewing goon babble. What I'm trying to say here is, I wasn't a very good liquor control board for myself and therefore had to be stopped !
I would hope that YOU are able to exercise moderation in your lifestyle, as this would seem to be one of the secrets to healthy and successful living. I am hopeful that you'll enjoy this piece of music and the slideshow I put together for it.
Comments are always welcome.
