How do we remain free after we have been set free?

Matthew 12:43-45
New Living Translation
43 “When an evil[a] spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, seeking rest but finding none. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to the person I came from.’ So it returns and finds its former home empty, swept, and in order. 45 Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before. That will be the experience of this evil generation.”

The ministry of deliverance has been much maligned. Jesus walked in every time that he spoke. Deliverance gives people an opportunity to be set free. Jesus spoke of deliverance as "Deliverance is the children's bread". It is part of our covenant benefit that allows us to be set free from spiritual maladies. Isaiah 61:1 "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.
