WORD Mondays with Dorothy WEEK 6 God Effort, Not Self Effort

Self effort is the very thing that the devil would like to fool you into moving back into, because if he can get you back there, nothing works in that place. And he knows it. And he can get you frustrated and busy spinning your tires, but going nowhere. Self effort is born out of not really believing God. You think you do, but your doing, doing, doing... proves you don’t.
God has another way. And it works! Every time. But you've got to stay in that place - the place of God-dependence.
