I couldn’t get my camera out fast enough, but he came down, dropped his talons into the water and tried to grab something. I’ve seen a few in the trees in the six years I’ve lived here throughout town, but I’ve never seen one in our neighborhood. Right before this a hawk had dive bombed the water too, which is why I was sort of ready.
