Tom Robert's Radio & TV days with the Crimson Tide

Tom Roberts started as sports editor of the Crimson White student newspaper at the University of Alabama while in school, but always dreamed of working with the radio broadcast of Alabama games. He later got into radio and was news director at Channel 13 TV in Birmingham before finally living his dream at Alabama. He worked with many of the legendary play-by-play teams in football and basketball, did play-by-play in basketball, hosted the Alabama football coach’s show, and more, from Bear Bryant to Nick Saban.
