Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), sometimes auto sensory meridian response, is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant form of paresthesia, it has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson.

ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control. A genre of videos intended to induce ASMR has emerged, over 15 million (+1) of which had been published on YouTube by 2021.

Often times, when it's warm, people like to listen to "cool" sounds - like rain, wind, snow, streams, and waterfalls. But when it's cold, "warm" sounds comfort me, and help me sleep, study, meditate, concentrate, focus. This is perfect for relaxing or relieving anxiety. Perhaps it also reminds me of times when I was a child; watching mom, dad, siblings, or aunts doing their hair. This sound soothes my mind and helps me stay sharp, quiet the mind with white-noise or background noise, and get my work and studies finished. It also helps me sleep, which is why I used a dark video image so the light doesn't disturb you when laying down. Enjoy!!! PS: Sound is in stereo and great for headphones.
