Dog shows his guilt when ask about a torn up hat.

Yesterday was my birthday and I was given a hat. This morning I found it torn up. Thankfully it wasn’t chewed on, just ripped. I’m sure what happened was DeeOhGee picked it up and got Zak to play a quick game of tug a war with it. DeeOhGee knew he had done wrong. When I ask who had torn up my new hat Zak looked back at DeeOhGee. DeeOhGee looked so guilty that I couldn’t stay mad. Thank goodness my mother taught me how to lecture us. I have never laid a mean hand on either of my dogs. But they know when I’m mad😡. I have to admit they have torn up very few items in their puppyhood that wasn’t theirs to start with. I wasn’t really al that mad but you have to make them think that I am. I would have rather have a spanking as a kid than my mother’s lectures any day.
