Drone Footage of Kalanay Limestone Hills and Pink Beach

In 1951, Wilhelm G. Solheim II, an American anthropologist recognized as the most senior practitioner of archeology in Southeast Asia, set foot in Calanay, Aroroy, Masbate as part of his research on the cultural history of the Austronesian people. His most famous and important archeological artifacts were the pottery excavated from Kalanay cave. The nearby Limestone Hills are believed to be an ancient settlement site of Kalanay people. This place is known as “Bulangan” by locals. The natural beauty of the place plus its historical significance made it as one of the official Tourist Destination in the province of Masbate. Exploring the place with my drone had been a great experience for me.
