This tricks is really fun and if you have a herding breed it is a very natural behavior. If you have a herding breed they already like to run circles, so you may not need the cones for very long. If you have a non-herding breed, this may take some time to train. I wish that I would have tried it with Isabelle before doing this video, but I am not that patient. haha!

If you do attempt this trick, I would appreciate a video response. I would really love to see your success!

Also, next week I will show you how to train a Wide INSIDE circle. In this trick the dog will run inside as you are on the outside and is just the opposite of this video.

There are many things you can do with big circles. I also like that the wide circles allows you to cover more ring space. When competing in Canine Freestyle you will need to learn to cover more ring space. This has always been a challenge for me, since when I video tricks, I need to stay within the camera frame. I am just now thinking of ways to move around the ring that looks good, smooth, and of course is FUN for my dogs!

To me that is what Canine Freestyle is all about, FUN for my dogs!

Have a great day!
