Free Flow: Hex - Walk-through for Classic Pack - Levels 61-90 - January 2022
================= What is Free Flow: Hex? ===============
Free Flow: Hex is a "Connect the Dots" type of game which occurs on hexagonal board.
This game appears meant to be played on a mobile device.
================= How to play ===================
Players need to connect the dots in such a manner that no paths touch.
================ Tips and Tricks =====================
You may not solve the puzzle on the first try. Do not fret or worry. Just experiment and try again.
The game will highlight paths which are in use, making it easier to see which paths are available for the other dots.
If you need a hint, you can get them. This requires you to watch an ad.
One good hint is to start at the edges and work inwards.
Another one is to start at the dot which has only one (1) possible path. This absolute path will simplify the puzzle.
Experiment. You could stumble onto the solution.
================= What about advertisements? =================
This section is based upon the first thirty (30) levels of game play.
Not many people enjoy watching ads. But the developers need to be compensated for their work - so this trade-off is required.
The amount of ads seem appropriate for this kind of a game. You see an ad every few levels which isn't to bad.
However, the ad integration is not fully functional causing the game to crash - sometimes requiring Bluestacks (my android emulator) to be rebooted. If this was played on a phone, that would get annoying.
======= So what is the bottom line? Is this a worthwhile game? ==========
The Good
This feels like a mature game. There seems to be a cohesive plan to the progression of the difficulty levels.
The movement is fluid. This is a sign that this game does not consume a lot of resources.
There are daily and weekly puzzles.
Levels are untimed and there is no move limit.
The Bad
This game could use some music. If there is music, I was unable to find the setting.
The Ugly
The ad integration is buggy. Ads will crash the game and occasionally crash the Android system itself.
Bottom Line: Do you recommend this game?
Based on the thirty (30) levels I have played so far, I can recommend this game. The caveat of course is the advertising.
