1/15/2022 Hunga Haʻapai volcano. Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha'apai is a volcanic island about 30 km southeast of the island of Fonuafo'ou in Tonga. Due to a massive volcanic eruption, underwater tsunami waves have hit the Pacific country of Tonga.
