The Intertwined by Alex & Kayla

Alex reached out to me after I shared "Parrhesia" with the world. We decided to write a poem together. Alex is in the US and I'm in Canada so we wrote this whole piece via text message. I sent her a few lines, she added to it and we just went back and forth, finishing each other's rhymes, until we had a full poem. We both have different backgrounds and perspectives but this collaboration felt so human. I'm blessed to have made a new friend across the border. This is what's it's all about!
