The Pope Of Greenwich Village By Drew Estate Cigar Review
This 6x40 stick features a dark cocoa oily satin finished wrapper with a firm pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large triple cap and faint sweet wood and hay aroma. This is the 10th release of the SmokeInn Microbatch series. First light reveals a slightly snug draw with tons of rich medium-full bodied smoke showing a deep slightly sweet oily earth and tobacco with a little pepper and spice especially through the long finish. The first third burns perfectly opening the draw to just the right amount of resistance. The draw flavors remain near full taking on a creamier component with the same profile while the finish gets a bit zestier with a pepper bite. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 35 minutes the draw snugs up but it still pours out smoke moving to a medium body. Flavors are largely the same just mellowing especially on the finish. Ending at 55 minutes where it got hot and the strength came up a good bit, draw flavors mellowed further to a mild-medium and the finish got sweeter.
