Edicts Gone Wild - Statehouses, City Halls, Kingdoms or Oligarchies?
As the number of injunctions against the various Biden vaccine mandates continues to grow, Americans seem to be missing a very important point. Our governments in Washington, DC, statehouses, and city halls are run more like kingdoms and oligarchies rather than constitutional republics. Sure, courts here and there may enjoin or even decide these mandates are unconstitutional, but that is only after that abuse has taken place. The recent case of Texas v. Becerra is just another example.
I don’t know about you, but when the CDC’s data shows that children under 5 are less than 3% of the cases and have a statistically zero percent death rate, I wonder what experts Secretary Becerra has been consulting. And since these mandates reduce parental involvement, along with social, educational, and health quality, I think the Secretary has missed the boat on this one.
