20220117 Corporate Charity - The Daily Summation

Can charity be a "corporate thing?"

Can some group or body perform charitable activity?

In my way of thinking, the answer would be, "No."

You're welcome to disagree.

As far as I'm concerned, some individual in ANY corporate body (be it a church, a business, a supposed charitable organization, or whatever), MAY be "acting charitably," and they might even be conforming to the wishes of folks from whom they got the substance with which they do so.

That's certainly NOT a "foregone conclusion" though.

Am I saying such entities are worthless as a result?

No.

I AM saying the body AS A WHOLE was NOT the actor where charitable activity is concerned though.
