Melissa is the morning host/producer at KBAQ 89.5 FM in Phoenix Arizona. KBach is the local "classical" station in the Phoenix metro area. Elias and Mike have a wonderful conversation discussing the role of radio in classical music as well as Melissa's history in radio. It was a delight having her on. And If Love Remains.

Melissa Greene
Melissa got her start in radio while studying music education and classical guitar at the University of Omaha, Nebraska. She began hosting in her hometown of Omaha as an intern, and eventually worked her way up to music director and afternoon host. Most recently, Melissa worked for American Public Media as a national host and as producer of a podcast for kids.

Melissa's first musical loves were Julie Andrews and Paul Simon. She’s really interested in continuing to learn how music can help us live fuller and more fruitful lives of purpose. She loves singing, writing, practicing Pilates in her free time, and finding new stand-up comedians to make her laugh.
