Song Structure // Building a Song

In video #2 of this "Song Structure" series, you'll see how to compose a full song starting with a set of lyrics. And we'll do this by moving through, and repeating, a couple of chord progressions build out a full and satisfying tune.

The example here is Natalie Merchant's song, "Topsy-Turvey World," and it's a perfect illustration of how to do this. In this video, I walk you through the whole process step-by-step.
