Toronto lockdown covid dystopia: LCBO clerk calls 7 squad cars to arrest 3 noncompliers

A word of introduction for my foreign friends: the province of Ontario still has civil servants who sell alcohol to patrons in stores called "Liquor Control Board of Ontario" or LCBO for short. It is in one of these LCBO stores that our three heroes chose to express their displeasure with Doug Ford's latest muzzle policy.

You can't even buy a beer around here when you are surrounded by yes-men and halfwits.

This video shows three adult Canadians as they attempt to pay for some beer at an LCBO store. They are faced with an uncooperative and frankly hostile clerk who, we he sees our maskless heroes, is triggered and immediately shuts down. He appears almost to be on the verge of tears. Maybe you need to sympathize with him: he probably thinks (on some level) that this muzzle policy is bogus and he doesn't want to enforce it but because of the video surveillance his boss will dock him pay and write him up as insubordinate should he fail to refuse service to our heroes who were after all only doing what came naturally, free of muzzles as God intended.

Evidently, a problem occurs in an electronic payment system when the merchant refuses to serve the client. It would be impossible when you be fenced into an electronic payment system to simply leave a twenty dollar bill to cover your merchandise, and by that means to avoid any accusations of theft as is done by our hero at 1:44 into the clip.

At about 2:00 our heroes exit the store where they are met by three uniformed Toronto policemen. One of our heroes is heard to say "We're never going to be tired of fighting for our freedom." A different one of our heroes pipes up: "Recognize our faces because we're going to be back here a lot."

The video closes with the observation of a third man: "I hope there's nobody that needs real help" from the police. And this is precisely the kind of psychological barb that will stay with the policeman until either he self-destructs or this monstrous policy is put down like a dog.
