Snow Plow - HISUN UTV & 48 inch BERCOMAC Snowblower Review // Homestead Life

Not your usual snow plow, but on our off grid homestead we use a powerful snowblower. Hisun UTV 700/Bercomac combo gets the job done. We have just over 10 acres of property on this off grid homestead, and we use a gas powered 48" Bercomac snowblower and 2013 Hisun 700 to clear the way. The money is well worth it; you can see we put it to the test. Last storm dumped 8" of wet, heavy snow to the area. For anyone deciding on what to use, I would highly recommend this unit. There is a model that comes with a 20HP Honda engine that I didn't get on this particular unit, as we felt the Kohler engine is sufficient for what we needed, but it may suit someone else's needs.

We prefer this to a blade. Here's why:

1. The snow is blown away from the property rather than built up around it, like you would get with a blade.

2. The amount of snow this can take on is impressive.

3. It is very efficient on fuel.

4. It is quite easy to use.
