This video has been specifically designed for the novice electronic music producer. Mike is using Logic pro 9 in this video. However the video outlines principles that can be applied to any other PLATFORMS/SOFTWARE or DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). -Techno and minimal elements it's all in the groove
-Start with the kick, bassline and other elements
-Cut out low frequencies by using a high bass filter on the white noise sound, to keep your mix clean
-Don't clutter your track, if you cram in every idea, the track will soon sound messy
-Keep percussion neat and tidy by adjusting the decay of the samples, relative to the groove
