Tim Langan - Tabla Groove

This piece was inspired by a number of Artists, but I would say that my main influence on it was probably Peter Gabriel and his adaptation of African Rhythms within his music.
There are a few sections in this tune, but it is very short and to the point and it has a very tribal feel, at least to me.
This composition was written in its entirety on my Korg 01Wfd Synthesizer with its built in 16-Track Sequencer. This was originally a part of my 'Audio Only' series of posts, but I decided that this piece needed some visual representation, so I put together a short slideshow for it, featuring some great female drummers and bass players pictures. I wonder how many of these players YOU can identify in this slideshow ?
