West Bengal rail accident kills at least nine

Authorities on Friday reported more fatalities from a passenger train derailment in the eastern Indian state of West Bengal, bringing the death toll to nine, as rescue operations continued at the derailment site, with trapped passengers extricated from crashed train coaches with the help of cranes.
