This 5 3/8x52 stick features a dark cocoa firmly packed toothy and oily wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, closed foot, triple cap and rich cocoa and oak aroma. First light reveals a very good draw with thick, rich medium-full bodied notes of a slightly sweet nut and bread, light earth and a building black pepper on the long finish. The first third completely changes to a naturally sweet fruit, almost a cherry note, with a creamy coffee and the pepper mellowing through the finish. The 1/2 way point comes at a very slow 45 minutes, combining all previous flavors in to one. The sweet fruit, coffee, cocoa, light earth, all thick and smooth with the light pepper on the tail end. Ending at 1:25 the last third shifts to a big strength kick and flavors of a bright warm leather.
