Question 91

"Dear Gopal, I keep repeating my childhood restrictions in honest sharing. I've been doing sharing for years now and most people are by far not as experienced, I tell myself, so I need to protect them from my judgements/aversions or at times sexual feelings and, even worse, fantasies. It seems I take others to be kids, unable to hold their own inner states without acting out. In our current cultural situation, that seems to be the truth. I, on the other hand, think I'm willing to hear it all, if spoken without much identification. Beginners in particular apparently need to be "protected" somewhat, isn't it? Should I ask for super advanced partners to go into the darker stuff, or is that just reiterating the very dilemma, a mere workaround and avoidance?"
