musicboxx is proud to have MIKE DIERICKX discussing Synthesized Bassilines. His record is extensive producing and remixing for many artists such as Moby, Sinead O'Connor, 2 Unlimited, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten just to name a few.

This video has been specifically designed for the novice electronic music producer. Mike is using Logic pro 9 in this video. However the video outlines principles that can be applied to any other PLATFORMS/SOFTWARE or DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). -Bass should have a solid low end and also some filtering and light use of effects
-To recreate a nice base sound, start with an initialized patch that consists out of a single sound tube, a way form, or double them up and add some filters
-If you can't find the sound you are looking for RECREATE IT, there are many great soft synths plug ins out there to create great synthetized bass sounds and leads
