The subject of God's clocks and prophetic timing are an enormous topic having lots of ins and outs, lots of details, and lots of facts that have to support it. And I hardly know how to organize such a subject in order to explain it to you clearly.

We know there are 6 prophetic time periods in the book of Daniel and 12 in the book of Revelation. Why did God put these 18 prophetic time periods in Bible Prophecy? God deliberately put these prophetic time periods in the Bible to help us understand the dates which he has set by his own authority. The study of God's timing is quite a challenge, and that's what makes Bible prophecy so interesting. When the genealogical history of the Bible is combined with the 18 prophetic time periods, the Bible speaks only of about 7,000 years, total.

God did it this way, I believe, so that we can see the big picture of the Grand Week (seven thousand years), a day with the Lord is as a thousand years – 7 days equals 7,000 years.
