Daniel 7 Continued Part 2 - Daniel Study

This isn’t describing a wheelchair. Rule 1 says each apocalyptic prophecy has a beginning point in time and an ending point in time, and the events must occur in their order. First comes the lion; the bear is second; the leopard third; and the monster or the terrible beast is fourth; then the little horn rises and speaks boastfully fifth; and the Ancient of Days takes his seat sixth; then the courtroom was called to order seventh; the books were opened eighth; the little horn then speaks boastfully ninth; and finally, the beasts were burned up tenth.

This sequence we have just read is in chronological order. Daniel 7:1-12 is in chronological order. That’s where we discover rule 1.

Daniel 2 goes: the head, the chest, the thighs, the legs, the feet, the toes, and the rock. Everything is in order. And the antithesis of this chronological order is that, if it's not in order who can put it in order? Who would you trust if you can't trust the Bible? Who will put it in order and tell you what the order is if the Bible doesn't?

You have to take the Bible as it reads. You have to accept the scripture as it reads or you're out of order. The point here is that each apocalyptic prophecy – and there are 17. For many years I thought there were 18 but I have been proven wrong, there are 5 in Daniel and 12 in Revelation; a total of 17. There’s that 10 and 7 number again. For years I thought the prophecies of Daniel 10 and 11 were separate, but I was wrong. It is the same prophecy because the order is not broken. So each apocalyptic prophecy – has a beginning and ending point in time and the events occur in the order in which they are given.
