Guitar 101 - Demystifying the Capo
42
The capo has many uses, but there are 2 primary functions:
1.) Using the SAME CHORD GROUP with a capo placed which CHANGES THE KEY of the song.
2.) Using a DIFFERENT CHORD GROUP with a capo placed which can result in NOT CHANGING THE KEY of the song.
I'll go through a few scenarios and demonstrate how to accomplish both of these functions.
This video accompanies a free short course on better understanding and using the capo. There are handouts and supplemental materials available in this course: https://musiclessons1on1.trainercentral.com/course/capo
