Stephen Petty, host of the Petty Podcast, announces the publication of the 2nd Ed. of his textbook on Forensic Engineering – FORENSIC ENGINEERING – Damage Assessments for Residential and Commercial Buildings published by CRC Press – Taylor & Francis. This is the seminal book regarding methodologies for performing inspections for the insurance industry. It is writing in lay terms and endorsed by the International Codes Council (ICC). It is based on ~10,000 actual forensic inspections by EES Group.

This podcast covers a general layout of the book and then some photos of fun, odd and sad things observed in actual inspection.

Stephen Petty, PE, C.I.H., C.S.P., host of the Petty Podcast and owner of EES Group in Pompano Beach - Florida, will be applying his knowledge as an engineer and health & safety expert to breakdown recent events (i.e., Forensic Engineering, COVID-19, Surfside condo collapse, etc.).

Stephen's credibility all starts with his unique combination of credentials as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (C.I.H.), Certified Safety Professional (C.S.P.), and Professional Engineer (P.E.) in six states.

He holds 9 U.S. Patents, mostly related to HVAC systems.
