Wasted Sunshine: Solar advocates fight to make Florida the solar state

Despite our motto, "The Sunshine State," Florida isn't the top solar powerhouse. According to the Solar Energy Industries Association, Florida ranks third in solar electric capacity, behind California and Texas.
