Well, at least the Cheyenne continues the United States' tradition of naming helicopter-ish things

Honestly, the actual drop-ship parts of the Cheyenne make a lot of sense - apart from the loading ramp, which is probably just a holdover of not wanting to have to deal with a large tank dangling off the bottom of the craft during re-entry.

It all falls apart when it... unfolds? Expands? Deploys its pylons? Whatever. That's where it all just gets weird. It's honestly amazing the thing can remain in the air once it's all done with its transformation.
