My Bret– My Love – Home With The Lord – Feb. 16, 1962 to Sept. 8, 2021 - The Hillbilly Kitchen

We did not have nearly enough time together, but I am grateful for and blessed by the 36 years and 8 months we walked through life together. Bret will always be a part of me, and I see him in our children and grandchildren.
My world is spinning, and everything has changed. My loss is greater than anything I have ever experienced before. Yet, I am blessed beyond measure because I know Bret is not lost. He was sure of his Salvation, as am I, and our separation is only temporary. This eternal HOPE and our shared faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, gives me the strength to continue on, to live, to love, and to laugh again.
Thank you all for your prayers, love, support and kindness. You have blessed me beyond what any words could express. I pray our God Bless You All!

I know the editing in this is not what you are used to from Bret, but we are learning, and I promise it will get better. Unfortunately, we lost most of the photos from the last 5 years when we were editing, so we will be adding a short specific slide show to the end of the next few videos. We also, have a song that was recorded just for this video by Megan Poore that we could not get into our editing program, so it will be in one of the upcoming slide shows as well.
I can never repay Reverend Bill Duncan his comforting encouraging message or the Cosby and Honeycutt Families for the beautiful music they provided for Bret’s service. Bret would have enjoyed his funeral. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
