Shiva Shambo chanting music for meditation or yoga practice (1 hour 45 min)

What is Shiva Shambo? It is essentially a devotional chant to Lord Shiva, which acknowledges him as pure consciousness and calls on his powers. Shambo in Sanskrit translates as “the auspicious one” and chanting this sound is said to have the power to liberate you into higher consciousness.

Lord Shiva is also known as "The Destroyer", destroying worlds in order to ensure the Rta or the order of the universe. Shiva's destruction is not negative. It is one needed in order to nourish and construct anew, building new life and energy for all that exist, propelling evolution, growth and change.

He is also known as the first yogi, or Adiyogi Shiva, and is regarded as the patron god of yoga, meditation and arts.
