Sailboat Runs Aground In Storm!
This sailboat ran aground during a Lake Michigan Storm.
The owner is a local, and we contacted him immediately. No one was hurt, and we are about to go help with the recovery. We hope his sailboat isn't damaged! It's a swing keel, so we may get lucky!
This incident happened August 27, 2021 at Beaver Island, Michigan, United States. Filmed by the DeLaat Family of SV Yemoja and Windward To Eden.
