The Porsche Taycan is an electric battery salon and shooting brake manufactured by German carmaker Porsche. The Taycan version, called Porsche Mission E, was first released at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. Taycan has been revealed ready for full production at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show. Like the first series of Porsche electric vehicles, it is sold in several variants at different performance levels, and may produce some of the most innovative models in future models. More than 20,000 Taycans were introduced in 2020, their first year of sales, representing 7.4% of Porsche's total volume.
