Sobremesa Cervantes Fino Cigar Review
This 6.25x46 stick features a dark brown slightly red hued oily wrapper with a firm even pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and a zesty sweet pepper, earth and charcoal aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick dusty medium bodied smoke showing flavors of a smooth sweet light earthy and dry tobacco with a clean short finish. The first third burns very well but quickly with flavors going to a bigger sweet tobacco, almost a cherry level of taste. The smoke is thick and rich but the finish is short and clean. The 1/2 way point comes around 30 minutes with the same overall profile however the retrohale brings out a specific zingy meatiness like a charcoal grilled steak. It's no strong but very prevalent on the draw. Ending at just over an hour, the last third keeps the same flavors giving a very consistent performance all the way down.
