It is important for firefighters to have a good understanding of how vegetation burns under different conditions. This video shows two different types of fire behavior in the same long unburnt stringy-bark forest. One fire was lit under mild weather, the other under typical bushfire conditions; resulting a stark contrast in fire behavior.
